However, the right leg seems to give the left leg much pressure causing discomfort. Here's one of the sequences i used to work up toward lotus pose. You can gently rock the leg back and forth to open the hip up a little more. Then, repeat the steps given with the left foot kept first on your right thigh and the right foot kept on your left thigh.
